    Two Tables Side by Side

Is it possible to set two tables side by side?  So that they expand independently?

I have tried two columns - the first column contains a number of information fields that relate to pictures inserted into column two.  The problem is that the line spacing in column one increases according to the size of the picture - creating a lot of white space.  The user inserts the picture so I am never certain of the exact size of the picture.

Could you have a table that is 2 columns x 1 row (basically, two cells side by side), and then inside each cell, add another table in the layout that you want?

On the first table, you can change the padding/margins if needed.
