Another option for if/then statement in InfoPath?

    Hi,

I am trying to create a logic formula in my web enabled InfoPath form.

If status field = completed, then date picker field is greater than 00/00/0000

Basically, I want to use the cannot be blank option for date picker if status field = completed

if the status field = In Progress, the date picker is hidden until status field becomes Completed.

     is there another solution?

    Many thanks!

Add data validation to the field that the date picker is bound to. Your data validation should have two conditions -- the first would be Status = Completed and the second would be DatePickerField is blank. You'll want to leave the default 'and' between the conditions. Then you can enter the error information in the Screen Tip field. Hope that helps!
