Hi, I have a working view and I need to remove the validations from a copy of the view. I copied the view over to another view and removed the validations from a few fields. However, I see that the validations are missing from the same fields in the source view as well. How can I achieve this? Thanks!

Data validations are specific to the data element itself, not the control, so they will always be the same on every view.  Same goes for rules.  The only thing that is specific to the control is conditional formatting.  If you remove data validation from your field on a specific view, it actually removes it for that data element at the data source level.

Now, what is the business requirement that you are trying to meet or accomplish?  I mean...what do you REALLY need to do that makes you want to remove validations from a view?
