I have the following formula which sets the value of a field dependant on another field in the current line of a repeating table: @Email[@Name = current()/../Approver] This works fine for people running Infopath 2007 however as soon as a user with 2003 tries to complete the form this field is not completed. Does anyone know how I can get this to work in both 2003 and 2007. Thanks

Hi, and welcome. As I recall, you'll need to do this with rules instead of default values for this to work in IP 2003. I'd guess that you'd set the rule on your 'Approver' field, from your XPath -- whatever makes sense for your form. What field changes that would give you a different email? That's the field to set the rule on...
