Populating date based on if another field is completed.

I have an extremely difficult infopath form that has 3 views.   The three views are used for different things.  The default view populates with the date the form was created.  No problems.

On the second view I need a date to populate when that section of the form is completed.  The only way I have figured out how to do this is to base the date picker field off of another unique field.  So when the requestor name is entered I want the date submitted to populate with "todays" date.   I set a rule, if Requestor is not blank then date submitted = Today().   However, the rule isn't working, nothing is populating in the date field.

Do any of you have any ideas how to make that date field populate when another field is entered?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Make sure that, need to put rule for requestor field and not for date picker.

    Hope this helps.
