Submitting a Form with a filename in the format of ProjectName - Month, Year

I just created a form which allows me to input the project name. I also created a textbox within the form to reflect the current date. What I am currently having problems with are:

First, I would like the filename of the form I saved to be in ProjectName " - " DateToday format with the DateToday being in the format of Month, Year.

Secondly, I created a DONE button and this DONE button is linked to a SUBMIT function, this will supposedly submit all the contents of the form and close it. It does the submitting part which is great but it doesn't close. In the "submitting forms" part of the form I have already check the "close form" option so I am now clueless as to how I am going to "make" Infopath close the form.

Thanks and hope to get a reply soon! :D

    Hi,

    Try the below steps.

    1. Go to DONE button properties.

    2. Select Rules and Custom code in the action drop down.

    3. Click Rules button.

    4. Click Add button then Add action button.

    5. Select ‘submit using data connection' in action drop down.

    6. Select the submit data connection in ‘data connection' drop down.

    7. Click ok.

    8. Again click Add action.

    9. Select ‘Close the form' in action drop down. Uncheck the ‘If changes have not been....' Check box.

    10. Click ok until all the windows gets closed.
