Choosing one of many records returned by query

    Hello,

Does anyone know how I can accomplish the following?

    • After running a query, many results are returned. I would like to pick one of the many to work with. Is this possible?
    • Essentially, I would like to select the one or two records I want, and make the others disappear

    Thanks

Filter the results based on a unique identifier.  If you're showing your query results in a repeating table, then set conditional formatting on the table itself to hide when a certain piece of metadata equals a certain value...or when that piece of metadata does NOT equal a certain value (whichever works in your case).

Remember that this method pulls down all the data and then hides non-relevant records.  It's better to do the filtering at the data source so that you only pull down the relevant info, but that depends on what your data source is as to whether it can be done there or via the query mechanism itself.  If you care to explain those two things, we may be able to optimize for you.
