InfoPath Dev

 Hi, I am using infopath 2003. I have created a new blank form titled employee information form.I created a table of 2 columns and 10 rows, added all the info, etc, but when I tried to save it, I only have the option as a infopath form??.. there is no drop down to save as .xsn??. Can someone please explain to me how to save as .xsn?.. I am new to this, so I am not sure what I did wrong?

Hi,When you save a form as infopath form template then it will be saved .xsn format only.

 

 Oh???... Ok.... Thanks... Yes it does, I just checked the document, thanks. But why when I try to save it, I only have the option as Infopath Template Form??.. not .xsn?

That's what .XSN is.  Why do you need it to say XSN instead of Infopath template form?

Are you asking this in relation to the save options after filling out the form or after designing it?  You can set options for other formats to save a filled out form when you design the form - check Tools --> Form Options.

Well I am using this Infopath Guide book, which illustrates a picture of the save drop down list, and on it, it says save as Infopath Template Form, and, save as type Infopath Form Template (*.xsn). Was curious why I do not have that option??
