Hiding the date picker in InfoPath 2007?

    Hi,

I can't seem to select "Hide this control" in the date picker field for conditional formatting?!  How do I do this?  The conditional format is "if column 1 is "in progress", then blank....

Assistance is greatly appreciated.  It looks really dorky when I just choose to black out the date picker.

You can hide any control by placing it inside a Section control (the section can be bound to the same node as the control inside it), and using conditional formatting to hide the section control.

    Hi Lisa,

I have attached a small sample form to help you implement the needed functionality. Areas of interest in the example would be the conditional formatting implemented on the DateCompletedSection as defined by jimmy.

    Hope it helps.

Thanks all.  I got that to work but had to recreate a new document library due to errors found on the page and the library?

I have a new question.  I don't understand why my newly submitted InfoPath form doesn't show up in the new document library?  I get confirmation that it was submitted but no results.  Why and how can I fix this?!

Have you tried to republish the InfoPath form to the newly created Document Library.

Hi Samir,' I too have same requirement as Lisa Choi. I downloaded your form but i could not view the rules which you applied in the form. Please let me know how to view it.

After you download the form, open in design mode (easiest is to right click the saved XSN file, and select Design). Here's where to find the rules - select the section around the date picker:
