Automatically Complete Sharepoint Task from WebForm

I have a webform that will require an approval.  When the approver adds his digital signature and clicks submit on the webform, I would like their workflow task to be automatically set to completed, so that they do not have to go back into their task and click complete.  Does anyone know how to do this?

Have you set up a SharePoint Workflow?

Can you go into SharePoint Designer and edit the workflow to change the state?

I attempted to do that, but the Workflow remains in a paused state when I "assign a to-do item" or "collect data form user", so I cannot change the state in the workflow because the it is paused.

I imagine that a second workflow could change the state thereby unpausing the first workflow.   But I do not know if I could have parallel workflows on the same form.

I would like to do something similar. Displaying all outstanding tasks that pertain directly to a particular InfoPath 2007 web form and then allowing the user to complete the task right from within the form would be great. All of our workflows are built with VS2005 or VS2008 using Windows Workflow Foundation and project templates meant specifically for SharePoint workflow projects.  Is there a SharePoint web service that we can call from InfoPath to get all the tasks related to the current form, list them in a repeating table, and then allow a user to complete the task(s) from there? The reason we want do this is it will keep users from having to bounce from the task to the form they are approving and back to the task to complete it. It would be much easier to just view the form they are approving and then complete the task with one click. Anyone done that before?

    Thanks!
