Hi Guys,

I hope you can help me I have a very annoying problem with the Infopath Forms I have designed for my company.

I have used three logos in the design of the forms, but only sometimes, the images wont display on the form when I am filling it out, Please see these pics for an example of this...

sometimes it does work and sometimes it doesnt work, this is on the same machine, my other users have reported this problem also, since we need to print copies out for customers, this is a major problem for us...

My first guess is that this is a network issue. When the form is loaded the pictures are not accessible, that is if the images are linked from another source. This would explain the intermittance and would be effected by either PC or network perofrmance. If these forms are embedded in the template itself it could be an issue with the image type and the client rendering them or something.

This happens to me too, sometimes. Do you happen to be running an x64 OS? I think that is what is causing the problem for me. To date, I have only "dealt with" this problem. Please let me know if you figure out a fix! Otherwise, more robust x64 support for MS Office is due with the next release (version 14, that is).

a little more onfo for you all,

the images are placed using "Insert - Picture - From file"

the images are placed in the same directory as the template and are .jpg format... they did work before but i changed a view around and now they dont work at all... I dont know what happened, I didnt change anything to do with the images.

I am using Windows XP Pro SP2 (32 Bit!)

You might need to start over completely. Rebuild the form or at least take the pictures out, save, test. Insert one picture back in, save, test, etc. My guess is it is some corruption or anomaly if it was not a problem before and it cropped up after some modifications.

Yeah, the XSLs behind the views can get corrupted sometimes. I wouldn't say rebuild the entire form, but just that view.

and another little nugget on info...

if I open one form, the images dont display, open another instance of the form, and the images display ok!!!

this problem is happening on every view I have images on...

I will try rebuilding them over the weekend when we have no production on...
