Data View lost on form republish

    Hi all,

I have an issue with some of my infopath forms published to WSS.

I'll give you some info on what I have set up.

I have an Infopath 2007 form published to a Form Library.

I have then created several Data Views in Sharepoint Designer which display filtered views of this form library.

The problem occurs when I make a change to the form, and then resubmit it to the Form Library.

ISSUE ON THE FORM LIBRARY ITSELF
All of the Infopath fields that were visbile on the Form Library view are now blank.
If I open the form and resubmit it, the fields repopulate, but I have to do each one individually.
I don't want to have to do this 200+ times every time I make a cosmetic change to the form.

ISSUE ON THE SHAREPOINT DESIGNER DATA VIEWS
    These just don't work anymore.
If I go to the page where one of these views are supposed to appear, it just displays an error. (Sorry, I wrote the error down, but have lost it)
I then have to recreate all of the Data Views again (There are about 12, takes about 15 minutes per view to recreate correctly)

So, does anyone have any ideas about an easier way to update a form without causing me an extra 10 hours work to fix up the issues caused?

I know this is old post, but answer may be useful to future readers...Very likely when you republished your form your column promotion properties were set to "create new column" instead of "use existing column". In the promotion process, spot check your columns being promoted and make sure they all are set to use existing column (and have the right column selected).
