Submit infopath form to sharepoint document library using e-mail

    Hi,

I have a browser enabled infopath form that needs to be submitted to a sharepoint library anonymously. The submit button works properly, but the issue is it only works when the form is opened in Infopath i.e. form does not get submitted if opened in browser.

I can send e-mails to the sharepoint document library from my outlook without any problems.

It sounds like you have a couple challenges here. First and most important, SharePoint libraries do not allow anonymous users to submit documents. Lists and surveys can be made anonymous, but not libraries.

The other issue is a little more complicated. Can you tell me if you are getting any errors when you submit?

Yes, you are right about anonymous submission to libraries, that's why I was trying to get around submitting to sharepoint directly.

As for the errors, the form always gives the message that the form has been submitted successfully. However, it does not show up in the document library.
