    Conditional Formatting on buttons

    Hi,

I would like to change the color of the button when the rule in a button is applied. In the sense if the button is pressed the font of the button should change.

In conditional formatting it doesnt give me an option to choose a if the Rule is TRUE then please change the font color.

    Thanks for any help..

You can try to use a dedicated field just for that.
For example, the field "ok". (add this field in your data source.
You add a rule for the button, without condition, and as action "set a field's value" ok = true.
And in the display formating, if ok is equal to true change your shadding.

    Thanks alot it works!!

But when I open the form in an email I dont see the color change.
I see the change when i open the form in a document library.

My "ok" field is a check box, is it possible to hide that control after the rule is carried out, so users wont see a check box?

You don't even need the checkbox within your view. It's enough to have it in your datasource. So just delete the checkbox from your view and it still stays in your ds.

    Hi hmalkan,
I done a sample on this by taking a email-message connection and is working when I open the form through an email. Check the condition on the button once and also check is there any other condition is given to modify the button font.
I hope this will help you.
