Hi,

I'm new to InfoPath and have the following question:

I have a form which is published to SharePoint Form Library, I've started a Approval workflow for this Form in SharePoint Library.

Is it possible to lock the form i.e. it should not allow the user to update the form once it has been approved.

How can this be done?

You can create a similar view with a read only controls and switch to that view once the form is approved.

First of all when you say you are working with a SharePoint form library and an "approval workflow" are you talking about using SharePoint 2007 workflow with an InfoPath form? Such as this:http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms548723.aspx?

Regardless the InfoPath side of showing a read only view of the form once the form has been approved can be accomplished through code or rules, here is a good starting point:

How are you approving the form in sharepoint library? I am assuming you are approving it in Infopath form
It is not about switching from sharepoint library view to Infopath. Once you approve the form in the Infopath, The form will switch to the readonly view that you will create using the rules
