    Jump to field or location

I am new to InfoPath and currently working on a form which should have a boolean or checkbox, when checkbox or boolean is selected to yes, then it should jump to a different field or location in the form.

    ---------------------------
    Materials used?
    - yes -> jump to field / location
    - no -> (If possible) Generate message: you did'nt use any materials.
    ---------------------------

     Is this possible?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi RobJanssen and welcome,

Yes, but you will have to write code to call SelectText method. Also, not all controls can be selected but sections can so for controls you want to jump to that cannot be selected, you can wrap them in a section and set selectoin to that. We have a tool that does this for validation errors. In other words, we list the validation errors in the taskpane as links and if you click on those links, it jumps the form to show you the control that has the missing entry (or bad value). If you want some help with code to get this working, send us a small Quick Help donation and we'll spend some time enabling it for you. I will ask others for a link to the tool we did...
