Attaching long images - how to do it

    Hey everyone,

We're trying to setup a form so that it can allow a user to attach a file that is actually a multiple page fax converted to an image format (.TIF).  Currently, we can only attach images if the file contains ONE image only.  Patrick Halstead got back to me yesterday on similar post (Thanks Patrick!), but I haven't heard back from anyone else.

It seems to me that the only way to currently attach a multiple page fax as a .TIF image to an InfoPath form is if each page is attached as a SEPARATE image, which doesn't make logical sense.   Again, we're not using SharePoint yet for this form (we are using SP 2007 for other projects), but we are using InfoPath 2007.

     Any ideas?

     Thanks,

    Jim

    Hi again Jim,

What happens when you attach a TIF file that contains more than one image? Is there an error? Have you considered writing some code that breaks up the image into separate pages or attachments?

    Cheers,
