Hide submit button to prevent editing form.

I am creating an infopath form for a department to use here.  The issue is that once the form has been submitted, I would like to prevent it from being edited.  Is there a way to conditionally hid the submit form for a form that was already submitted?  I use an automatic numbering solution for naming each form, and I don't want to prevent the ability to create a new form, I just want to hide the submit button once the form has been submitted.)  Any thoughts?

Solved my own problem.  Added a conditional format to the button, that checks the autonumbering field in the form.  If the autonumber is < or = to the current number in the form, hide the control.  Seems to work great.  Now on to possibly the last pressing issue of the form.  (I would be really nice to be able to turn all of the drop downs into simple text fields, but that may be too much to ask.)

got fileds issue solved the same way.  But instead of hiding the control, just disable it.

     One more issue to resolve...
