How to protect a form from unauthorised changes, or save as. REPRINT

    Hi Patrick and Janice,

the following is a remake, and addition, of a reply on the 13 - Mar -2009.

Why would I use MOSS with a system that probably will not be distributed over the Internet or Intranet.

I don't know if the client has any intention of making this product available on the web.

My correction Janice, you said IRM is inexpensive.   I looked into it but backed out.

I have tried to get into IRM. I baulk at any costs at this point.

I have dappled with customization of menus, seems good. But affects all other IP packages installed.

I have managed to avoid using SharePoint.  I guess I will have to commit myself, oneday.

I have to hand product over, as is, tomorrow Wed 15thApril. 14th for you.

I have not been sucessful in getting MSI running (still learning), nor the IRM (moved onto other issues),
some little success with the locking the product, but what I have done is weak. and ruins the menu bars.

I also have other queries posted today.  I have been researching and testing how to use wildcards in the "Form Template ID or Location" dialog box.
No success there either. I cannot remember the DOS keys used as wildcards. Hopefully that might be a solution here.

Any clues or queries on any of the above, your most welcome.

    Ian
