    how to replicate the way that InfoPath client publishes the Form to SharePoint

    Hi all, We are developing a SharePoint WCM website which will allow users to fill in browser-based InfoPath forms. We are looking at our deployment strategy to get this working correctly and we are running into some issues.

    The following are our requirements:

    1. We cannot use the InfoPath client to deploy the forms into test/production;

    2. Some forms require the user to log-on, some forms can be accessed by anonymous users.

    When we deploy forms using STSADM, they get added to the default “Forms Templates” library and from there we can fill in the form using Forms Server. Now comes the issue: we need to have these forms in two different forms libraries, otherwise we can’t set-up different permissions. We have not yet found a way to copy the form templates to a different form library allowing the form to be filled in as web-based form. If we open the copies form templates in the browser, we always get “Form Closed”.

    Any idea how we can get the form templates to work in other form libraries besides the “Forms Templates” library? Does anyone perhaps know how we can replicate the way that the InfoPath client published the Form to a given library?

    Kind regards,

    Samir
