Hi,

 I am creating infopath form, it has to display all the employee details and user must able to add the new employee details.

i used the web service to get the employee details from the database as dataset and i show the information using repeat section but i was not able to add new item to the repeat section.

can any one help me on how to display these information and insert new employee item to the database.

Have you tried double-clicking the repeating section to open its properties, and then checking the box to select the option allowing insertion or deletion? If so, and it still does not let you insert, please check your repeating section's Conditional Formatting and make sure that there are no conditions that might be preventing insertion.

I still geting the same problem. let me explain what i did.

I have added the web service datasource to the infopath which return dataset. i drag and droped the datatable from data source to the design view. it asked for

1. Repeating section with control

2. Repeating section

3. Repeating table.

I have selected the Repeating section with control. It displayed all the fields in the table. I saw the properties of the Repeating Section . It is ReadOnly. i was not able to edit it. If i click the preview i can view all the rows from the table.

My requirement is i have to diaplay all the rows from the table and i need to insert new row to the repeating section.

Is there any way to achieve this.
