    Form Schema Should Remain Constant

    Hello,

I have created a InfoPath Form by using InfoPath 2003.. which has number of rich text boxes on it..

users are going to take print outs after filling this form..

but each time when different users fills form then size of those rich text boxes varies according to data entered by users and hence it distorts the entire design of Form..( as rich text box expands its size after filling it beyond its boundary).. so printing of that filled form will not be consistent..

so my question is-- is there any way so that I can keep design of form (even after filling form) constant so that, each print out will look in same format for each user..??

     Any help will be appreciated.....:)

In the Display tab of a rich text box's properties, you can change the Scrolling option to something other than "Expand to show all text," but if this intended to be printed, you run the risk of having text cut off if you don't allow the box to expand.

So you want the box to stay a constant size, but fit any amount of text that the user might put into it...?

That sounds like a contradiction to me.  Am I missing something?

So do we need to add scroll bar into it?

that means we have to select show scrollbars when necessary in scrolling option.. right?? and is that the only way?

I recommend you experiment with all four options.  If the box is not large enough to contain all of the text, scrollbars are not going to help when the form is printed out on paper.
