Very New user (started today )

    Hi all

i have created a form for booking in customers machines (we are a computer repair shop) everything on the form works a treat, and all the bells and whistles that i have added work fine, just one thing i cant seem to sus out.

i have a drop down menue, with 8 options two of wich, on selection i have a pop up description for that selection so new users understand what that selection is for, that all works great, but on one dropdown option  i would like a text box to appear on the form once the option has been selected but for it not to be there before its selected, hope this makes sence, as i said im very new to this, any help would be most appreciated.

    thanks in advance

    Hi Gray,

You can achieve this using conditional formatting. Follow the below steps.

    1. Add a text box to the form.

    2. Go to Text box properties.

    3. Go to Display tab -> conditional formatting.

    4. Click Add button.

    5. Select the drop down list field in the first drop down, is not equal to in second drop down, enter the value (for which option you want to display text box) in third drop down.

    6. Check ‘Hide this control'.

    7. Click OK until all the windows gets close.
