Updating/Republishing Sensitive Forms to a Forms Library

    Hi all,

I have created a form and published it to a content type, now I am required to update this form. The problem is that the Form Library has a 1000 sensitive forms stored inside and I'm afraid if I republish the form to a Form in production, it may cause the Form Library to lose data/forms or  prevent the user from submitting the form. Is there a way to prevent the lost of possible data and insure that the form library don't get corrupted due to republishing. Is there a way to back up the forms that's already in the forms library and upload them back into the forms library if needed. Thank you.

    Hello,

We can take back up for those xml files from SharePoint. We can copy all xml files from Explorer view and upload it again.

Do you have any doubt for republishing the form to production and it might be chance to disturbed view. For this you have to check once in manifest.xsf file. <xsf:listProperties> fields might be changed compare to old form.
