Right now we are using a form to log our maintenance in a factory and we are saving the form after each 12 hr shift in to a folder on a remote harddrive
this is rather crude way of doing this I think and I was wonderin if I could set it up so that the form is submitted into a database and then the cntrols that let you choose the date and day or night shift would be used to populate the fields in the form from the database.
So if I would for example pick an earlyer date the fields would be populated with the data entered on that day.
If I would pick the date today and the current shift I would get the maintenance job's already listed and could add more.
Is there a known way of doing this?
