Our goal is to pull data from our DB into an infopath web form on MOSS
Here is the setup:
-Infopath 2007
-MOSS 2007
-SQL 2005
In SQL we created a web service to send/receive data from our DB. In infopath we created a data connection than converted it to a UDC and uploaded it to MOSS. Using this service we can write to the DB from a web form no problems. Pulling data from the DB works only if we don't use a web form (i.e. if I open the form in infopath it pulls the data fine.) If we attempt to pull data from the DB in a web form nothing shows up, the field is blank. No error messages, nothing, it's just blank. I've tried throttling the logs but still nothing.
In MOSS I created the data connection file manually and wrote the query directly into the data connection file like this article demostrates: Click here
This allowed the web form to pull the data just fine, but we want to use our web service.
I hope that all makes sense, any help would be appreciated.
