Need to KEEP spaces in a text box

I have an InfoPath 2007 form populating from a SQL statement with formcode from VS.NET 2008.  Everything works great except, I have  textbox that I need to keep spaces in, i.e. my SQL delivers the value "Jessie                  Smith" (and I have verified that the SQL is indeed returning that value), but on the InfoPath form the textbox value displayed is "Jessie Smith".  How do I tell this control to keep the spaces that I want?

    Thanks,

    Chera

    Hi,
Try it by changing your text box to Multiline. Set the text box properties
to allow multi line paragraph breaks. So that it will allow the text as you
enter. Follow the below steps to enable multiline for text box.
    1. Open the form in design mode.
    2. Go to text box properties.
    3. Go to Display tab.
    4. Check multiline, paragraph breaks check boxes.
