SharePoint Workflow conditions based on Infopath field

    Hi

Using WSS 3.0, Infopath 2003 SharePoint Designer

I am trying to write some workflows using SPD. I want to do conditions based on the form fields promoted from the infopath form to the WSS library.

The conditions however do not work, I can use the fields in actions but cannot when used in the conditions.

Does anyone know if this is possible to do?

    Hi JasonD,

Yes, it is definitely possible. As long as the field is promoted, you should be able to use it in the workflow regardless if it is an action or a condition. Are you getting an error, or just not seeing the field? If the workflow is not acting as expected, after every action, use "write to workflow history" so you can see exactly what went actions were completed. Can you tell me what you are trying to do in more detail?

It most certainly is that easy! I did try this before though and it simply wouldnt work. It seams to have been a configuration problem with WSS that wasnt allowing the workflow conditions on the IP fields.

I found a couple links online about the issue I may have been experiencing however my only resolution (which isnt much of one) was to reinstall WSS and start over. Since then it is working fine without a problem.
