From where you want to take the backup for InfoPath form?

 If you want to take the backup from SharePoint, then you can save the form library as template. After that you can add that library to SharePoint.

I have a similar problem. I have to backup a document library in SP containig lots of InfoPath forms together with the template. Is the method you mention here going to be enough for backup? I looked for a solutions but they all seemed to complicated for such a simple activity.

Hi,

Above method will not work if you have lot of forms in your library. It will show the error message while taking the backup.

How many forms are there in your library. Once try this method for your library(By selecting "Include Content" option while taking backup). If it shows any error then you need to copy the all xml's from explorer view.

If yuo want backup for only library without any xml's then don't select "Include Content" check box.
