    Hi, and welcome:

A lot depends on your data structure. The controls that you are entering information into are bound to fields in your main data source, right? So at it's simplest, you can display the same fields on the 'Summary' view. You can also use expression boxes to show things like the sum of items, to allow you to do some grouping.

Hope that helps -- If you post back with a bit more information, I think it will be easier to understand what you need to do.

Re: How to create a Summary Page?

    Hi Hilary,

    Thank you for your response.

Yes, information enter are in drop down control, rich text box. I like your idea to display the same fields on the "summary" view.

    For Example:

Information are in different view starting from a home page with customer information (drop down and text box) click next to "GO" to the next view = Configurations view...User can enter their hardware selection, custom setup....so on and so on...

Once they completed the form click next to the summary page and all of the infor that they entered are recorded to the summary fields...

I have try the expression boxes but this feature doesn't support in Enable browser.

Please show me how to "display the same fields on the "summary" view. Your help is greatly appreciated

    Thanks,

    NickT

Really? Office Online says that expression boxes are supported in the browser....and I just tried creating a new browser compatible form locally and was able to add an expression box. What happens when you try?

Just to catch this thread up with our email discussion:

A dialog box expression is not supported in browser forms, but expression box controls are. I'm attaching a very simple sample form that shows a summary section that uses expression boxed. Right click on the link and save as to save locally, then open in design mode and preview.

Again to catch up with email discussion -- the filtered xpath in the expression boxes in the sample above cause errors in the design checker for browser based forms. Here is another version that takes a different approach -- a third field to hold the filtered value and a repeating table with conditionally hidden rows.

It works great.. you're a genius. Errors are no longer in "Design Checker"....

I am shooting for another design question: What is the best approach to create a "PRINT" button to print the summary view?

    Thanks

Well, a print button is going to take code... if you only want the summary view to print, no matter what view of the form the user is in, you could create a print version for your other views that looks like the Summary view. Then, no matter what view they printed from, they'd get the summary....
