    Save Query

    Hi everyone!
I created a form based in a table SQL Server, the query is done successfully is returned  in repeating table, I would like to save this query in other repeating table.
    how can I do that?

    Hi:

Not to be slow -- I don't quite understand what you wish to accomplish. Can you provide a little more detail, please?

    Hi Hilary! thanks for reply

    This is my form

    This is a query result

    I insert a new item

But when I make a new query all changes are clean, look this message

Translating: this action deletes all information from the current form

My need is simply, save the query result and continue inserting new item. Could copy to another repeating table, but how?
This form will be published in MOSS Foms Service.
    Thanks for your attention

So you want to be able to use the 'Query' functionality while you have a new item added that hasn't been submitted? I think I still may be a little confused. Perhaps you could add another button that would first run a submit to the database to add your new item, then query again. The reason your new row gets removed is because it doesn't meet the query filter you've added of the registration number. With a database bound form, there are some innate behaviors and restrictions that can be a little tough to work around.

So I believe that a button with the function to copy to another repeating table would be ideal, but I not infopath dev, I think it dev in VBA would be more easier.

We have a free product called qRules that has that functionality, so you wouldn't have to code. Download is available here. If you are using IP 2007, you can use VSTA with InfoPath and write C# or VB.Net code as well.....
