How to purge unwanted files from InfoPath

    Hi,

Is there an easier way than manually deleting unwanted/unused files from InfoPath after I extract files?  Basically, I know that I can decrease the size of the xsn file by deleting unwanted files, but the only way that I can seem to do it is by extracting the form and then going into the "Extracted" folder and manually deleting old files that I don't use anymore.  For example, when an image is added to the form during design mode the form retains that image even if you decide not to use that image anymore.  I know how to remove resource files, but how about images that I manually added by going to Insert-Picture-From File...?

What is the best practice when it comes to inserting/removing files that are not resource files?

The way your doing it seems easy enough - you File -> Extract, go to extract folder, delete, then re-open the xsf file in the extracted foler in design mode and File -> Save/Publish and Infopath will recombine all the files into a single xsn.
