    InfoPath Submit Forms

I created a Microsoft Infopath form for users of a team to fill out weekly status reports. I configured the submit button to get emailed out to two different individuals when the user hits the submit button. After testing today we had a few problems. One problem is that infopath opens up microsoft outlook to send the form. Is there a way to get infopath to use the default mail program?

On a second note, is there a suggested way to have the person that all these status reports are going to to receive them instead of through email? Thank you!

Hello Jonathan and Welcome to Forums,
About your 1st issue InfoPath by default uses Microsoft outlook and we cannot change it to use any other default mail program. About your 2nd issue we don#%92t have any thing other than mail where the person can receive the status reports. You can have a SharePoint site where the forms get submit and the person access the SharePoint site to view all the status reports. One other thing you can do is merge all the status reports into one form and send it in email.

    Hope this helps!

There is a way to get IP to use an email program other than Outlook. I'm not sure though if this is just for the basic Send to Mail Recipient or for the Email Submit Adapter.

Here is a link about Lotus Notes integration that may help:
