I am trying to build a supply request form that looks up the items in a sharepoint inventory list. I would like to place a validation that compares what the requested quantity with the onhand quanity.
My form has a repeating table with two fields a dropdown of the item descriptions retrieved from the list and a textbox for requested quantity. However when I make a selection from the dropdown and try to validate the quantity requested to the quantity onhand it only validates against the first item in the list.
Could someone point me in the right direction for this type of comparison or a sample of similar design? Thanks
