Publishing Forms to MOSS, ".. it contains features that are not compatible with browsers."

    Hi, (new to InfoPath)

For testing purpose I am trying to publish an extremely simple (one table, on text field) form to a MOSS server.

    Procedure - in InfoPath 2007:
    -------------------------------
    1) Design a form template
    2) Design a new form template
    3) Enable browser-compartible features only: checked
    4) Insert table
    5) Insert text field in table cell
    6) Activate Design Checker -> OK
    7) File | Publish | ........

    8) Last windows of wizard informs me that:

"The form template is available on the server for use with InfoPath, but it cannot be opened by using a browser

because it contains features that are not compatible with browsers." ???

Can anyone help - please ?

    Hi,

Make sure that ‘Allow users to browser-enable form templates ' check box is checked in the InfoPath form services.  To check this follow the below steps.

    1. Open SharePoint Administration (Start -> All Programs -> Microsoft office server -> SharePoint Central administration).

    2. Go to Application management tab.

    3. Click on ‘Configure InfoPath forms services' in InfoPath forms services section.

    4. There you will find the check box in ‘User Browser-enabled Form Templates‘section.

And there are no errors in the design checker? Perhaps attach your test template to a reply and I can check it against one of my WSS installs with IPFS.
