Easier way to export multiple forms to Excel

    hello all,

I have several hundred forms stored on a Sharepoint library that I frequently export to Excel. In the current export process, in order to export multiple forms, I have to choose one form at a time in the export dialog. Is there a function that allows me to select multiple files at once?

     thanks,

    Borna

    Hi,

If you are storing your forms in sharepoint. Then you can expot all forms to excel from sharepoint. But you will see only Promoted Proprty columns in the Excl.

Can you verify below link if you are using sharepoint2003:

    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel/HA011196391033.aspx

If you are using sharepoint 2007, then

    1. Open your form library.
    2. Go to Actions Tab --> Export to Spread Sheet.

Re: Easier way to export multiple forms to Excel

    Hi Anuma,

There are over 200 fields in each form that i need to export so I cannot promote all of them.

Currently I go to File > Export to Excel, and choose "Export data from this form and these additional forms:". This feature unfortunately does not let you choose multiple additional forms at once.  Is customization the only option here? Im not a developer :(

    thanks,

    Borna
