    Problem with date picker control

Hello, i have a problem with the date picker control in a browser form. i am writing from germany, and when i select a date picker control and open the form in infopath, the calender is shown with "monday" as the first day of the week. When i open the form in a browser, it also works fine, but the first day of the week is sunday. The form is an applance for holiday, which normally starts with a monday, but people make errors, whe the week starts with an sunday instead of a monday. Does somebody knows the reason for this effect, is there any sort of region- or language- variable

    Thanks, Johannes

    Having the same problem here.

MOSS 2007 SP1 with the Infrastructure Update installed on Windows Server 2003 SP2 with SQL 2005 SP2. Everything installed using US-English software. Regional settings of the SharePoint Site (WSS Team Site Template) is "German (Switzerland)" (de-CH).

While the date picker on any SharePoint list, including the built-in Calendar/Events list, is showing Monday (as set on the Site Settings/Regional Settings Page) the published InfoPath 2007 SP1 Form displays Sunday as first day of week when opening the form via formserver.aspx as Web browser form.

Appears to be a bug in InfoPath/SharePoint. I'm going to re-check this on another vanilla virtual machine next week and if it happens there too, we're going to open a support request with Microsoft.

I'll keep you posted on the results.

    Cheers,

    Sig Weber

Re: Problem with date picker control

I'm facing exactly the same issue in Austria.

I have the following configuration on two different x86 machines: Windows Server 2003 SP2 en-US, SQL 2005 Standard Edition SP2 en-US, Template is Blank Site "German - (Germany)", MOSS 2007 SP1, WSS 3.0 SP1 and Infrastructure update for MOSS 2007 and WSS 3.0 (.net framework 2.0 and 3.0 SP 1). I'm looking forward to your results, Sig Weber...

    Thanks a lot!

I'm having the same problem too... Has anyone found a solution?

@Sig: Any luck with the support request with Microsoft?

     hello Karsten,

the issue does not occur on my machine, or any of the machines i have access to, it seems to be associated with the date settings on your machine, can you check what are the regional settings on your machine, does the first day of week start with monday or sunday. please try changing that and let me know the outcome.
