Digital Signature on Browser Enabled Form

I have a form that has digital signature enabled on a section of the form.  The form is browser enabled and publised to a Sharepoint forms library.  With the form opened in a browser, when I try to sign the form I get an error that says "An error has occured, please try again".  Anyone have an idea how I can get digital signatures to work on a browser enabled form?

Thanks for the info, but I followed the instruction provided.  When I "Click here to sign this section" I got the popup that says "The form contains changes... Click Ok to update the form, and try signing again."  I clicked Ok and I'm prompted to install $(loc.IPFS DSIGRES CABNAME) and dsigctrl.cab.  I completed the installs and the next message I get is "An error has occured. Please try again."  At this point every time I attempt to sign the form I get the error occured message.

Any other suggestions I can try?

Have you figured this out, because I'm getting the same error.

No luck here.  If I come up with a solution I'll post it.  Please do the same.

I was running into this same issue and changed the following Internet Explorer setting on the affected clients to resolve it:

    1. Open Internet Options, click the Advanced tab, and in the Settings area scroll down to the Security section.
    2. Uncheck the box with the setting "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer*".
    3. If you have Internet Explorer open then close it (all instances).

You should now be able to open IE back up and test out your form.  If you continue to have problems, I would suggest resetting all IE settings back to their defaults from the Advanced tab in the Internet Options menu.
