and checking the check box and clicking verify. When I click on the Design Checker, I get a error saying:

The site      http:\\   vti_bin/FormServices.asmx could not be found in the web application SPWebApplication Name=SharePoint - 80 Parent=SPWebService.

Also after I published the Template to my Form Library, I attempted to open it by force it to open in  a browser and it just gets hung up saying its loading but never do.

Can anyone help with this please. 

If it doesn't work in Design Checker, it definitely will not work. What I do, is not enter the formservices.asmx portion of the URL. I just add the address of my site collection and then INfopath is smart enoguh to derivce the path to FormsServices.

For example, I enter something like: 111.111.1.11/sites/SiteName 

when I go back into Design Checker, I see it modified the forms services site path to 111.111.1.11/sites/SiteName/FormsServices.asmx or something of the sort

also: Make you sure you have Forms Services running in the first place from your Central Admin site

I've verified that I have Form Services running in Central Admin. Is there any thing else I can check.

I can open the form in a broser from the SharePoint Site, but can't submit the form.

How you are submitting the form using data connections or code? Can you give more detail on your error message?

If you are submitting your form to "Test" folder in the sharepoint site. then you need to give following URl in the submit data connection.

Http://servername/test/

Verify that you have given correct format in the submit data connection.
