InfoPath Dev

Hi, I'm just starting with Infopath and want to pick up a variable in a text box on the form and want to be able to store the value so that I can then sotre it in a database. I can't seem to find anywhere how to reference a field and select the value in it, then assign to a variable in c#...please can somebody help!?! Thanks T-BONE

In InfoPath 2007, it would be something like this:

XPathNavigator node = MainDataSource.CreateNavigator().SelectSingleNode("/my:myFields/my:field1", NamespaceManager);
string nodeValue = node.Value;

substituting the "/my:myFields/my:field1" part with the actual XPath of the field you are accessing.
