    Working Offline

     hi everybody

I'm really new to this infopath, I have made a form which I would like to work without sharepoint, but for data connection I don't know what to use, Access or sharepoint workspace. Although I tried both, I could not connect my data to access, but in workspace I connect it and even figure how to submit data, but it did not submit to any where or simply I couldn't find it.
so I hope someone help me how to work with one of these two

Hi - I'm not quite sure what your end goal is - does your form need to submit to a database? It sounds like you don't want it to submit to SharePoint.... but your title is about working offline, so I'm thinking perhaps that is a requirement as well? Could you provide a little more detail on your requirements?

    Re: Working with a database

Thank you four your kind answer.

What I want to do is simple, at least I think it is simple,  I have a single PC which I need the data to be saved in, but there are couple of people who should enter data in that computer, instead of entering direct into database, I prefer having a user friendly Form to fill which is connected to that data base and I don't have to do copy and paste later. So my question is how do I connect This info-path form to Microsoft Access database directly in a same computer. I think it is possible to receive data from access but is it possible to submit data directly without a email and internet connection. I dont mean it should be access I need a data base what ever possible. I really appreciate your help.

Okay - the couple of people who need to enter data - are they all using the same machine? Different machines, but on the same network? If everyone is on the same network, you could probably put your Access DB on a network share that everyone has access to, create an InfoPath form off the database, and publish the form to the same location. However - if you take this approach, they'd need to at least have an intranet connection. If everyone is using the same computer, then you could just have the DB and form locally on that computer - in a folder that all users can access.

EDITED: To clarify, upon re-reading - yes, you can put the DB on a computer and have an IP form on the same computer that connects to that DB - and base the form off the DB.

Thank you, you've been most helpful, sorry for asking too much  but could you tell me how do I submit a form to a access data base, because I tried and tried but couldn't find a any thing.I'm working with infopath 2010, in data ribbon in submit form section there is 4 option email, sharepoint library, other locations(to web and to sharepoint server) and in submit option there is email, sharepoint, web, hosting environment, data connection library, so there is no option for connecting to access.

Bye the way it is a single computer, no network

Ah - the issue here is that the form needs to be based off the database to begin with. When you create a new form, one option is "Database" - from there you select your DB. When you walk through the wizard, pay close attention to the last dialog - you'll need to check a box to enable submit, and if there is something about your DB that won't allow submit (like some specific data types) there will be a message explaining the issues.
