I am editing an existing infopath 2007 form. It has been created using VS 2008 and can be opened using infopath and a browser. I have recently added a new textbox by dragging the control from the toolbox on to the form. I have bound it to a new field I have added to the main data source. It all seems to work fine until I notice that the textbox control isn't appearing when I view the manifest in xml editor.
All of the other controls appear in an xsf:editing element, however the new control is no where to be seen. I can view it on the form when I open the manifest in design mode and when I debug it. I have compared the properties of this text box to those already existing and don't notice any differences. The only difference I notice is that in design mode (and run) the new text box border is light grey. All of the other controls have a darker border. I'm new to infopath forms and am wondering if I am missing some steps. Please help.
