    VSTO Not Functioning Correctly

    Greetings again everyone,

I have installed VSTO Second Edition Beta and attempted to create an InfoPath project. When I do so, I get an error; "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt." Then I attempt to do it again and Visual Studio gets almost all the way through the project creation process and stops with a second error; "System cannot file the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002)"

This is getting a bit frustrating. All I am really needing to do is move forward with my form and begin to add some custom code!

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Hi again,
Just a guess but maybe you don't have the right write permissions on some temporary directory that VSTO wants to use to cache your project. Or, maybe it's just a VSTO+IP bug. :)

    Patrick,

Unfortunately that's not the case; these are my own development machines and I am a domain admin. I do all of my development in Virtual Machines.
