    Programmitically Attach a file

    Hello!

I have been pouring over this site and also googled my fingers to the bone looking for a solution to my problem.

I am trying to attach a file to an IP 2003 Form.

I have created the Attachment Control and figured out how to create the file I need via jscript.

I then have code that creates an email with the IP form in the body. (Found that info on this site, works great!)

The file that I created is a text file that is saved to the local drive of the user.

I then would like to attach that file to the File Attachment Control via code, but not using C#.

I am restricted to the use of Jscript only.

I have found all kinds of information on using C#, C++, ect, but have yet to find something using just JScript.

The text file is a very small file that is used a shortcut to open a file in a 3rd Party Program.

Any help would be greatly apprieciated.

    Thanks!

    Re: Programmitically Attach a file

I have done some work with programtically attaching files.

Taking email attachments and attaching them to an InfoPath form.

It has been awhile but I would place the file in the same location each time and then the form would grab the attachment from there on load.

Send me an email and we could discuss.
