Military Common Access Card intergration into Infopath

I was wondering if anyone knows how I can integrate the military common access card for users to be able to log into the InfoPath data base?

You'd have to create an ActiveX control to integrate with the card reader.  And, InfoPath rich client (filler) would be required - couldn't do this in the browser forms.

We've created ActiveX forms before that integrated with barcode readers and industrial weight scales. If you have documentation for the common access card reader, it would probably be a short project.

As for my understanding,  if you want to integrate the military common access card for users to be able to log into the InfoPath data base, you'd better find a code  adding for InfoPath to learn more detailed info, it is easy for you to follow the guide to gain what you really want. hope it helps. good luck.

You would need a Barcode Addin for MS InfoPath to integrate the military common access (CAC). http://enterprise-email.org/installing-cac-reader-software
