Total Minutes between Date & Time Picker

Hi, I have a Change Request Form I need some help with. I have 2 dates - "Start Date" & "Resolved Date", both are Date & Time Picker Fields. I am looking for a solution that provides me with 2 answers: - The 1st is the Total number of minutes between Resolved and Start - The Second is displaying that Total number of minutes as Text in this format "0 days, 00hrs, 00mins" so for Example: Start Date = 11th Feb 09:00am Resolved Date = 12th Feb 10:10am I would like to see: Total Minutes = 1510 Total Total (display) = 1 days, 01hrs, 10mins

    Hello Pinnacle7,

Date/Time calculations can get a bit tricky. the dateAdd function only does so much out of the box (OOB).  I would recommend using qRules Date Diff command. This command will allow you to get the difference between two dates in whichever format you choose.

The syntax you would want in this instance would be: concat(" DateDiff /date1=", fieldwithStartDate, " /date2=", FieldWithResolvedDate, " /component=totalminutes")

Here's a link to qRules for some more info: http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/qRules_new.aspx

After that it would just be some testing and logic to break up your total minutes into days, hours and minutes.

    Hope that helps!
