Hi, We have been using incremental numbering on InfoPath forms which come from the number of documents in the library. However, i have noticed that it stops counting after 100 most likely due to the limit of documents that can displayed in each view. Is there a count function or something similar that...

  • Reset project number if it's the start of a new month.

Hello again, Thanks in advance for any help on this one. I have a form in which I create the project ID based on the last two digits of the year, then the month, and then a three digit incremental counter, all concatenated. So a form entered on April 24th would be 0904017 if 16 other forms have already...

  • Re: Unique form number/name generation?

Here's the method that I found works the easiest: http://bladah.com/?p=51 The solution will allow you to generate a unique ID when the form is submitted to the library. It will also give you the capability to edit the form and re-submit without creating a new item every time it is re-submitted.

  • Re: Create Unique ID w/o a lot of programming

Here's the easiest way that I've used: http://bladah.com/?p=51 This will allow you to auto-generate a unique ID when the form is submitted to the library and allow you to edit them at a later time without re-submitting the form. Hope this helps.
