  • Workflow approved issue

Hi all, I’m having a strange issue when trying to send an approval via a workflow to colleagues on a share point, which my infopath form is intergrated. I’ve been able to use the workflow fine before and currently no other colleagues are having the issue. When I open up any workflow, and try to put...

  • SharePoint Error when creating Task from Infopath form with workflow

Hi, I have a Nintex 2010 workflow that runs when an InfoPath 2010 form is submitted to our SharePoint 2010 site. Once run, the workflow will create tasks on a separate list on the same site as the form library. There are 4 text entry fields on the InfoPath form that are used as data for the task that...

  • Re: Creating a new record in edit mode?

Hi Drew, There are two options for running a workflow automatically: run when created, and run when changed. What about deselecting the "run when created" option? That way the workflow would only run on existing items, which is what you want. Does that make sense?

  • Send an automatic email including some information from InfoPath form when the workflow starts

Hello Hilary Stoupa and other experts, I created a infopath form with many check boxes that allow a user to select. I also published the ifopath form in the sharepoint and inserted it in the infopath web part. When a form is submitted, it starts the workflow and an email will be sent out automatically...

  • Iterate through an InfoPath Multi-Selection box and write to SP List

Hello, I'm relatively new to InfoPath development but at a reasonable level. What I have is an InfoPath form that allows users to submit up to 4 items from the same SP lookup list. The fields are name1, name2, name3 and name4. Each field also has a category which states what part of the business...

  • Re: Item Restores Kick off Workflow

Here's an idea: Add a hidden field to your form called Count (or whatever you want), make it a promoted property so it appears in the library columns, and when you submit a new form to the library make sure the value for Count is set to 0. Next, add a step to the very top of your workflow to increment...

  • Re: Restart Workflow

Wondering if you ever figured this out. I also have a scenario where I need to restart the workflow (or simulate a restart!) as well. I am using SP, SharePoint Designer, and Infopath 2010. In my scenario, if someone rejects the form, it needs to be sent back to the original User for changes and then...

I have an InfoPath generated from a state machine workflow, the InfoPath is linked to a SharePoint list. The problem is: When I fill the fields of the InfoPath and click the Submit button (which submits the form and closes it), when I re-open the form I find all the data that I have just filled...
