  • Re: InfoPath does not see my Oracle components

I tried to create an ODBC connection via the InfoPath Data Connections but got the same Oracle error message.  I have successfully created an ODBC connection outside of InfoPath and am able to connect to Oracle via command prompt.  What's the deal with InfoPath?? Any improvement in 2010>

  • Re: InfoPath does not see my Oracle components

I'm using the Microsoft Data Access - OLE DB Provider for Oracle inside InfoPath.  When I try to connect from Excel I get the same error - not finding Oracle components.  I haven't created a straight out ODBC connection in a long time - remind me how please???

  • Re: Error accessing a data source

We ended up using SSO for our data connections.  Sounds like this may work in your case since CAC credentials are not the same as Active Directory.  Although, if you are using the built-in webservice to pull user data, this may not work.

Just letting everyone know I've resolved this issue and my data connection works like a champ!  Thank goodness I was able to figure this out on my own.

  • Cross-domain error

Created main data connection in InfoPath form using SQL database using SQL credentials.  Connects like a champ when I preview via InfoPath.  However, the published form in Sharepoint will not connect.  Doesn't even hit the SQL server and gives me a 6932 cross-domain error.  Not crossing any domains, all the same.  ...

  • Re: Cannot get to code-behind file

Yes, you would think it would be so easy.  However, when any other user tries to open the form on my SharePoint site (which they have full access too).  Here is the message they get:   I hope you can see it.  It isn't a domain permissions problem because user "were" able to open it prior to my opening the ...

  • Re: Cannot get to code-behind file

Hello and help! I did not intend to add code to my form.  However, even if you simply open anything under the Tools/Programming, InfoPath adds code.  I've gone back to Tools/Form Options/Programming and "removed" code but it still seems to be there.  How can I get back to my original form without code?  I really ...
