• Re: Disable Save fetaure based on the changing of a drop down value.

You should be able to select the Remove Code button to remove any previously generated event handlers or code.

• Re: ADUserInfo key not working.

Sorry -- I should have been more clear. I had meant for you to create a secondary data connection to GetMyInfo that automatically runs the query when the form opens, then add a repeating table to your form with fields connected to Value and Key.... that way you can see if you are getting data, and what data you are getting...
• Re: Save Attachments

Hi -- I'm not seeing anything built in right off the bat -- you can conditionally disable the control, but disabling it doesn't allow reading. I can't find any information about being able to programatically manipulate the settings for the control, but there may be a way to approach this in code.

• Re: ADUserInfo key not working.

Hi, Phil: Have you tried dragging the entire group from the secondary data connection somewhere on your form (doesn't matter if it's ugly, you can delete later, or you can add another view for debugging) just to make sure it is bringing back data? That also helps you know the correct spelling, capitalization, etc. for the keys.
• Re: Repeating tables and Current()

If your form is something you can share (I realize some companies have policies prohibiting such things) I'd be happy to take a look at it if you'd like to email me. Sometimes a second pair of eyes helps.

• Re: Database Mapping questions ..

Hi, Jimmy -- Phil actually ended up re-creating his form. Originally, the form had been based on a database, which is why he had those namespaces on his main connection. Is it possible to map a template that has a main data source that is connected to a database? Just curious.....
• Re: Repeating tables and Current()

I would think that EWC-Code[Waste = current()/@Material_Category] would work.... but I'm sure your've tried that. I find it very perplexing that your formula with current() works when you change the control type....I'm sure you do, too! You do have the checkbox Update this value when the result of the formula is recalculated selected, ...

• Re: microsoft.office.interop.infopath.dll ?

I'm sorry -- I should have read the question more carefully. Microsoft.Office.Interop.InfoPath is in the GAC, too -- I'm not certain how to find the path, but this KB from Microsoft has information on adding assemblies to the Add Reference dialog.

• Re: microsoft.office.interop.infopath.dll ?

Hi, and welcome: On my machine it was in the GAC -- here is how I found the path. I created a new InfoPath form (not attached to Visual Studio) and under Tools/Form Options/Programming, selected C# (Infopath 2003 Compatible). Then I opened VSTA and selected the reference and copied the path ...

• Re: Repeating tables and Current()

Hi, Gary: What field is the drop down list bound to? Not the values, but the list itself? Is @MaterialCategory from your main data source? Is Waste the field with the value you'd like to place, filtered, into @MaterialCategory? Is the formula in the default value for the text box bound to @MaterialCategory? Sorry for all the questions -- but ...
